Parliament’s Diary
After nearly two hours’ debate in the House of Representatives yesterday afternoon the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Bill was given a second reading. The House then considered a report on the Broadcasting Corporation Bill, but this debate was unfinished. In the evening, urgency was taken for consideration of the Supplementary Estimates, which provided for the expenditure of an additional £1,228,650. This debate occupied the remainder of the evening.
