AIRLIFT TO MALAYA
Operation May Finish Earlier
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 17. The airlift of troops to and from Malaya by the R.N.Z.A.F. may be completed by December 7, instead of December 17 as scheduled. Major W. F. Cox, who has been working clcsely with the R.N.Z.A.F. on the administrative details, said that since the airlift began on November 1, eight flights had taken about 450 persons out of the country and six flights had brought more than 300 in.
