Gerrard To Play Tomorrow
New Zealand's leading tennis player, L. A. Gerrard, will play his first inter-club match in Christchurch tomorrow. Gerrard was to have played in the first round a fortnight ago but he injured a knee. He has now recovered and has been practising at the courts of his club, United, this week. Tomorrow, Gerrard will lead United against Woolston, which means he will meet B. J. Aldridge in the top Singles. With Gerrard in the team other United players will be A. D. L Hunter, A. L. Blackwell and A. Brooks.
