Golf Wellington Team Changes

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 15. Three golfers named for the Wellington team to play Canterbury at Christchurch on Saturday are unavailable. They are J. D. Durry (Shandon), the top amateur in the recent New Zealand open championship. K. E. 1 Carter (Miramar), the Wellington provincial stroke champion, and a veteran player, S. A. McDonald. Their places will be taken by A. R. Taylor (Manor Park). D. Scaife (Paraparaumu), and J. Logan (Paraparaumu). Taylor won the left-handers’ tournament at Otaki recently, which drew 92 entries.

The representative match will be played at the Russley Golf Club’s links.
