Pinned Under Truck
(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, Nov. 12. The driver of a capsized fully-laden truck who was pinned half an hour in the cab in a spectacular accident about 1.45 a.m. today escaped with only shock and abrasions. He is Alfred Norman Jones, of Gisborne. The truck, bound for Gisborne, ran off the road at Makauri, seven miles from the city,' snapped a telephone pole bringing down all lines except one, ran back on the road and turned upside down, strewing bales of wool in all directions.
