ATTACK ON TRAIN
Railwaymen On Strike (N^IJ’.A.-Reuter—Cops/riphO BUENOS AIRES (Argentina), Nov. 12. A crowd of 300 people attacked a train in Santa Fe Province yestreday. Six were reported wounded when the train’s police guard repelled them with gunfire and tear gas. The attack was the first outbreak of violence in Argentina’s two-week-old railway strike. The attackers blocked the railway line near the small town of Laguna Paiva, in the north Central Province, a local news agency reported. They stoned the train and set fire to its coaches. The striking railwaymen are demanding more pay.
