Issue OverSubscribed <NX. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 7. The sabscription list for the issue by Wilson and Horton, Ltd., publishers the “New Zealand Herald,” of SM,M» ordinary I#* shares at a premium of 4s a share, opened at 10 a-m. today and elosed immediately, heavily over-subscribed. Applications in respect of the issue to the public of 400,000 shares totalled more than L 250400 shares from more than 4000 applicants. No application exceeded 10,000 shares. Most applicants restricted their applications to the minimum of 200 shares, and many applications were from family groups. In accordance with the conditions of the issue, a ballot will be held to determine the 2000 applicants who will receive an allotment of 200 shares each. The 100,000 shares reserved for staff subscriptions were also substantially oversubscribed.
