Peking Warns On Fall-Out
(N Z, A.- Reuter—Copyright) HONG KONG, Oct 28. Peking Radio last night warned millions of Chinese living in the northern provinces to beware of widespread radioactive fall-out. The broadcast listed precautions which must be instituted and maintained “for a long period.” The radio took the unusual step of breaking into a news item mid-sentence to carry the warning throughout China at the peak listening time during the evening.
