Wellington Olympic Wins Big Road Relay
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON N„ Oct. 29. The Wellington Olympic Harrier Club’s last runner, K. E. Williams, crossed the finishing line of the Wellington to Palmerston North relay on Saturday 3min ahead of his nearest rival, B. Petersen, of Palmerston North. Olympic had led all the way. Both Wellington Olympic and Palmerston North finished the course in less than 9hr. B. Mamey finished for Hutt Valley in third place, llmin behind Palmerston North, followed by Wellington Methodist, then a composite team, in fifth place, after which came Hutt Valley B and Palmerston North B.
