Deadlock Plan
(NJIP A.-Reuter—Copprtphti NEW YORK, Oct 23. The leading contender for the post at United Nations Secretary-General is to advance proposals aimed at breaking the big Power deadlock over the position. U Thant, of Burma, who is acceptable to both the Soviet Union and the United States, said he hoped to introduce the proposals next week.
