Pekingese Win* , Best Dog Award

award for th* b*«t dog in th* show at th* Ashburton Kennel Asaootetton’s championship dog Show on Saturday. The award for beet oppoeit* sex went to a. K. and Mrs de veld* Harsenhorat’s miniature poodle bitch, Tallyrand Lady Fenella. Mrs A. K. Bayne’s Pomeranian, Gold Nugget of Burwood, won the best puppy award. A total of 181 dogs from 33 breeds took part in the show. Judges were Mrs K. C. Cooper, of Ashburton, in the terrier, toy. and non-eporting groups and Miss M. Barker, of Geraldine, in the sporting groups. Results were:— Terriers Best terrier, Mrs J. R. Brown’s Cairn eh. Renfrew Renewal. Best opposite sex, Mis* G. M.
