Second-Round Suburban Games Begin

The seeond-round games af the cricket competitions began <m Saturday in good condition*. New Brighton batted almost all afternoon for its ■ total <rf 210, against Becken- • ham. A Smith, 52, and D. 1 Mesaervy. 51 not out, both batted well and offered a good defence to the bowling ot R, Garters, who finished with six wickets.
