Waimakariri Bar Unfavourable
Unfavourable conditions on the Waimakariri bar on Saturday caused the diversion of the 109-ton motorvessel Motu (Captain B. Marshall) from Wellington to Lyttelton. The Motu berthe' at Lyttelton early on Saturday evening and it is expected that she will sail for Kaiapoi at daybreak today.
