With a receipt of £37,396 this year, the Canterbury Jockey Club is fourth to the Auckland and Wellington Racing Clubs and the Auckland Trotting Club on the list of distributions of T.A.B. profits. With a receipt of £37,741, the Auckland Trotting Club moves ahead of the Canterbury Jockey Club into third place for the first time in 11 years. Last year the Auckland Trotting Club received £28,002, and the Canterbury Jockey Club’s receipt last year was £31,610The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club this year receives £31,654, an increase of more than £BOOO on last year’s receipt and a bigger increase over the year than that of under £6OOO shown by the Canterbury Jockey Club.
