The various cane and berry fruits —rapsberry. boysen - berry, loganberry, currant and gooseberry will only need sprays of malathion from now on as a control for aphis or greenfly. Apply at joz of malathion in 4 gallons of water when the pest is seen. Strawberries need regular sprays of Thiram and Malathion for best results. A spray of 2oz of Thiram and joz of malathion in 4 gallons of water should be applied at 10-day intervals until one week before harvesting as a control for botrytis, aphis, mites and leaf hopper.
