League Waikato Player’s Record Score
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, October 6. R. Tait, the Huntly United and Waikato Rugby League five-eighths, has established a New Zealand record by scoring 438 points in one season. Tait has easily eclipsed the previous record of 378 points set by A. Berryman, in 1953. Tait, who still has another three games to play this season. has scored an average of 14 points a game and it is expected he will reach 480 before the season closes.
