Soccer THISTLE CLUB SUSPENDED
Non-Appearance At Meeting The Thistle club has been suspended by the Canterbury Football Association. When the management committee of the association met last evening the secretary ( Mr E. H. Williams) presented a report from the judicial committee which said that the Thistle club had not attended that evening's meeting of the judicial committee. and the club was suspended until its representatives and players appeared. The president and secretary of the club, and two players, R. A. Sharp and D. Robinson, had been requested to appear before the judicial committee on matters arising from the club’s match against Linwood High School on September 23.
The committee also requested the appearance of J. Keogh and A. Pearson, two unregistered players who took the field, under the names Robinson and Sharp, in that match.
The management committee adopted the report.
