EXERCISES NEAR OXFORD
Men From Wigram In Training Field and camp planning exercises are being carried out at the Little Malaya jungle training area, near Oxford, by 19 men from the Royal New Zealand Air Force station, Wigram. The 19 men are made up from two courses at present being run at Wigram. There are nine senior non-commis-sioned officers attending a five-week course, and 10 airmen doing their basic recruit training. While at Little Malaya, where they will stay until this afternoon, the men will live under canvas and eat field rations. They went into the area on Monday. The exercises are under the command of Squadron Leader E. W. Scott, the officer commanding the General Services Training Squadron at Wigram.
