OVERTIME REDUCED

Builders In Wellington (NX Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 3. A decision by builderg to reduce or abolish Saturday overtime in the Wellington and Hutt areas was seriously concerning the Wellington Carpenters’ Union, the secretary (Mr W. F. Molineux) said today. Nine of the major Wellington employers had either cut overtime on Saturday or were considering it, he said. "About 450 to 500 men will be involved on the jobs.” Employers in Auckland were also considering or already carrying out similar action, he said.
