Ostrovsky Play In 1962 A production of the comedy “Easy Money” by the Russian playwright,. Alexander Nikolaevich Ostrovsky, is planned by the Theatre Arts Guild early in the 1962 Season. It will be the group’s next major production and will be produced by Hunter BelL Ostrovsky, who was born in 1823 and died in 1886, founded a model theatre and a school of drama in Moscow. The group recently cancelled a production of Eugene O’Neill’s play, “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” because one of the leading actors was transferred to Australia. Within the next few weeks the Theatre Arts Guild plans a reading of Racine’s “Phaedra” in the Canterbury Public Library’s hall.
