(Spectol Cotesprtitott N.2LFJI. money rapidly. Two months ago a telephone recipe service was established • and since then 57,000 housewives have rung a special dumber to hear the day's recipe. Women are now ringing up at a rate of 4000 calls weekly. On one day alone. TOO heard bow to serve stuffed mutton chop*. Recipes are frequently quite coraplictfted. but this does not deter housewives. One dish for four persons contained nine ingredients. “We are delighted with the response,” said e Post Office official "We only need 1500 calls weekly to break even and we are ex. seeding that considerably.”
