Campaign At Trentham
last Saturday, will now bo prepared for * hurdle cam pain on the later days of the j&eujSkSK at Trentham next Saturday ‘week Thumper was one of throe horses to return to Riccarton finished third to Thumper and Edrenbell last Saturday, and Centesimo, one of th* beaten runners in the Pukekararka Hack Handicap at Trentham. Although Thumper has no engagement on the first day of the Wellington spring meeting be will travel nortn on either Tuesday or Thursday evening of next week and may possibly be accompanied by his stablemates Quick Time, Roman Maid and Bodkin. No definite arrangements have been made yet about a start for Quick Time in the Wellington Handicap or for Bodkin in the October Hack Handicap but a start for Roman Maid in the Shorts Handicap, the main race for open sprinters on the first day, is almost certain.
