Maynard To Ride In Malaya
(N.Z. Press Assn.—CopyripM) SYDNEY, Oct 2. The New South Wales jockey, M. Maynard, who has ridden more than 600 winners in New Zealand and Australia, hopes to leave for Malaya next week to replace the leading Malayan and Sydney jockey, N. McGrowdie, who was killed in a road accident last month. Maynard told reporters today he had received a sixmonth contract to ride for the Malayan trainer, K. Daniels.
