Support For Ban On Flower Imports
Support for flower-grow-ers’ representations to the Government to stop the importation of artificial flowers was received from toe Vegetable and Produce Growers* Federation at the monthly meeting of the Commercial Flower-growers’ Association (Canterbury). A lecture on weed control was given by Dr. G. W. Maaon, of the research and development division of Ivon Watkins, Ltd. Dr. Mason’s talk was illustrated by coloured slides.
