£103,209 Pledged By Anglicans
Anglican parishes in the Diocese of Christchurch had pledged £103,209, and at August 31, 1961, had given £95,554, which represented 95.5 per cent, of the amount promised, the Church Advocate (Mr H. M. S. Dawson) said in a report of the standing committee of the diocese at a session of the Anglican Synod yesterday. The cum of £68.947 had been made available for new work.
