Patient Runs Amok
tN.Z.P-A.-Reut«r— Copyright) MANILA, Sept. 22. A patient of the National Mental Hospital in Manila ran amok last night, killing a hospital attendant and • injuring seven others, including a nurse. The patient was about to be given an injection in an isolation cell when he suddenly lunged at the attendant with a piece of sharp wire. The attendant was stabbed in the heart. The patient was subdued only after he had injured six more persons—four patients and two attendants—who had rushed to the cell.
