N.Z. Cup Stake Now £7000
The stake for the New Zealand Cup, which will be run at Addington on Tuesday, November 7, has been increased by £250 to £7OOO by the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club. The limit will remain open at 4min 23sec for two miles. The stake for some years was £7500. but four years ago this was reduced to £6750. It is expected that the club will announce the remainder of its cup programme in the next few weeks.
