(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 17. Taranaki made a tremendous late bid to overhaul a 15-3 deficit in a representative Rugby match against Wellington at Athletic Park yesterday. It scored 10 points in five minutes but time ran out. It was a rugiged match but with some exhilarating movements, especially from Wellington. Wellington led 12-3 at half-time but the final score was Wellington 15, Taranaki 13. For Wellington .tries were scored by J. R. Watt, C. Currie and P. Delaney, and M. Williment kicked two penalty goals. For Taranaki, tries were scored by R. H. Brown and M. Graham, two conversions were kicked by K. C. Briscoe and a penalty goal by J. L. Bayly.
