NEW LIFE BOYS’ TEAMS
Four Formed In Qty
Four new life Boys’ teams have been formed in Christchurch, the area supervisor of Life Boys in Canterbury (Mr W. F. Bishop) told the area council meeting of the movement. The new teams are at the South Brighton Methodist Church (about 15 boys); the St Giles’ Presbyterian Church, Papanui (about 18); the St John’s Methodist Church, Bryndwr (about 17); and the St David’s Methodist Church in Bryndwr (about 20).
Mr Bishop said that it was pleasing that teams were being formed in new housing areas. With the last four, seven new teams had been formed this year. The following were elected to the area training committee for the next two years: Messrs W. F. Bishop (area supervisor), R. Johns (Oxford Terrace Baptist Church), J. N. Rose (Colombo Street Baptist Church); R. Evans (St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Shirley), Mr Bishop was elected to the New Zealand Lafe Boys’ Committee.
