VICTORY PARK BOARD
20-Year Scheme Extended
A great demand for the 20year membership scheme at Lancaster Park has led the promoting body, the Victory Park Board, to extend the scheme by the allocation of a further 40 memberships. At the board’s meeting on Thursday evening the following recommendation was made by the membership committee, and adopted: “The committee recommends that the applications received by the closing date, September 1, for 20-year membership, be granted. In view of the receipt of a number of inquiries since the closing date the committee recommends that the board extend the scheme to cover a further 40 memberships to be allotted in the order in which they are received by the secretary.”
