Regional Meeting In Wellington “The Press’’ Special Service WELLINGTON, Aug. 25. The opening address of the twelfth annual session of the Western Pacific regional committee of the World Health Organisation to be held in Wellington next week will be given by the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake). The regional committee will review the activities of the World Health Organisation during the last year and the regional health program? and budget for 1963 Dr. I. C. Fang, regional director, has submitted a budget of 1,825,280 dollars for field activities and administrative expenses for 1963. This year’s budget was 1,610,042 dollars. Representatives from Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, Formosa, France, Korea, Malaya, the Nether, lands, the Philippines, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Viet Nam will take part in the meeting. Dr, P. M. Kaul, assistant director-general of the World Health Organisation, is expected to attend, as well as representatives from the United Nations.
