Prison Term For Fraud
(N£t. Press Association) GISBORNE, August 22. A man was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment on fraud charges when he appeared before Mr L. N. Ritchie, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court today. Harold Griffin, aged 28. pleaded guilty to three charges involving false pretences at Otahuhu on July 30, obtaining credit by fraud at Wellington on July 23, and obtaining credit by fraud at Whakatane on August 11.
