Frenchmen On TV
Five hours after the arrival of the French Rugby team at Wellington airport on Monday, the reception in the airport lounge was on the city’s television screens. The National Film Unit rushed a hastily-edited sequence of pictures of the Frenchmen to Channel I studio in time for transmission at the end of the scheduled screening at 9.30 p.m. Another sports postscript to the regular television proi gramme was a coverage of Saturday's hockey match at Wellington between the Indian Wanderers and New I Zealand.—<P.A.)
