13th RUGBY TOUR

Mr D. Davies, Of Auckland (N Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 4. An Auckland man who finds travelling with overseas Rugby teams “better than a dose of monkey glands" as a rejuvenator had a big day yesterday. He met his thirteenth “dose" —the French Rugby teem with which he is to travel the length and breadth of the country in the dual capacity of baggage master and masseur. Mr D. Davies, who was one of the thousands who saw the 1906 Wales-New Zealand game, has travelled with nearly every overseas Rugby teem in New Zeeland since the 1921 Springboks. His tally now is three South Africans teams, three from the British Isles, three from Australia, and three Fijian combinations A masseur at a Rotorua hospital for a number of years, Mr Davies turned down several offers from overseas, including one as professional masseur with the Liverpool Soccer Club.
