BIG WEST COAST STEER.—This Shorthorn steer from Bruce Brothers (Ahaura) brought £70 2s 6d at the Addington market yesterday. Standing about 6ft high, it is considered to be one of the biggest beasts seen at the market for a long time. Predictions of its killing-out weight ranged up to 15001b.
