“Westport News” To Resume
(From Our Own Reporter) WESTPORT. July 4. The "Westport News” has not remained out of commission very long after the announcement that it was io dose on Saturday. The business. established 88 years ago, was taken over this morning by R. Lucas and Son Ltd, proprietors of the “Nelson Mail,'’ and the paper will resume production as usual tomorrow. The development has been well received in the Buller district, especially by the business community. There has been some concern at the district losing its own local newspaper.
