INDOOR BOWLS TOURNAMENT
Championship Rinks At Rangiora S.. Scott led his rink to win the post-sectional play in the recent championship rinks event conducted by the Rangiora Returned Services' Association Indoor Bowling Club recently. Fourteen rink's took part in the first round, with eight games played, leaving five teams for postsectional play. Scott's rink narrowly won from E. Meaclem’s rink, 15-12. Meaclem led with t>he highest score until very near the end of the deciding match After the ninth end the score ■Tcrd * n Meaclem’s favour. 1--8.
