Match For Fidow
The Canterbury Boxing Association had been trying for some time to match the Christchurch light heavyweight boxer, A. Fidow (list 71b) for a professional bout, Mr E. Pocock told a crowd of 500 which attended the first professional bout staged in two years by the association on Monday evening. Mr Pocock said it was hoped to find an opponent for Fidow soon and the bout would be staged at the Show Grounds selling ring.
