BLANKETS FOR HOSPITAL

Save The Children Fund The North Canterbury branch of the Save the Children Fund will send knitted blankets to a Greek hospital. This was decided at a meeting of the branch yesterday when a letter from the administrator of the fund in Greece (Mrs J. With the help of a local taxi-driver, she visited the villages regularly during the last two months. The Save the Children Fund in Greece hopes to help Dr. Kotilea in running her howital in Areapoiis. by providing small pieces of equipment blankets, or a small painting. headquarters says the North Canterbury branch will soon be asked to help the fund’s work in Africa.

A sum of £250 has been sent to London for redistribution among needv children in Tibet and Hong Kong.
