Grant For Book On Gold Rushes INZ Prn» Association) WELUNGTON. June 30 A grant of £3OO has been made to the Pegasus Press. Ltd , ChriMchurch, to assist publication of a historical survey of the West Coast gold rushes. The author. Philip May. is a lecturer in history at the University of Canterbury. Other grants from the Literary Fund, oc the recommendation of the Literary Fund Advisory Committee, announced today by the Minister of Internal Affairs <Mr Gotzl are: £lO6 to Paul's Book Arcade. Hamilton, to assist the publication of "Brave Company.” by Guthne Wilson. This novel has been out of print for some time, £7B 10s to PJEJf, (New Zea-; land Centre), to bring the; amounts of the Jessie Mackay and Hubert Church awards up to £5O each. £lOO to Denis Glover Books Wellington, to assist the publication of a collection of the poems of the New Zeeland poet, R AK t Mason. ♦
