THREE PREMISES ENTERED
Three business premises in Southwark street were broken into on Thursday night, but the intruders gained little. From the office of Paykel Bros., distributors, 40 Southwark street, intruders took 10s and a stationery knife valued at £l. The handle of the office safe was broken off in an attempt to open It, and the bottom of a locked drawer of the manager’s desk was broken. Nothing was taken from the factory of C. W. Price, Ltd., manufacturing chemists, of 30 Southwark street, or from the premises of Edwin Wood <New Zeeland*, Proprietary, Ltd., importers, 31 Southwark street.
