Killings In Angola
(N Z.P.A -Reuter—CopynoM) LUANDA (Angola), June 29. About 30 native workers were killed when a band of insurgents, some armed with automatic weapons, attacked mines at Casalengues, 12 miles north-west of Babubas Dam, in Northern Angola, yesterday, according to five African mine workers who reached Mabubas village. Seventy Africans, workers and members of their families, were believed to be at the mine. Other insurgents were reported to have forced inhabitants of two villages in the Dondo area, 50 miles from Luanda, to accompany them. Insurgents also attacked a military patrol in the region of Toto. Northern Angola, but were dispersed. Several attackers were killed, but the patrol had no casualties, if was reported.
