Qantas Men Return
(N Z.P.A ."Reuter—Copyright) SYDNEY, June 30 Qantas maintenance workers decided at a stopwork meeting today to return to work on normal rosters. The meeting appointed a deputation to talk with the Minister for Civil Aviation (Senator Paltridge) and with the New South Wales Premier <Mr Heffron). About 14.000 maintenance workers attended today’s meeting. More than 1800 workers are affected by the meeting’s decisions. The men are disputing with Qantas the dismissal of 140 union members. They have demanded that the dismissed workers be reinstated.
