Preliminary Meeting tNZ. Press Association! WELLINGTON. June 30. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) disclosed at his press conference tonight that tn addition to the meetings with the British Secretary for Commonwealth Relations (Mr Sandys). already announced, there would be a preliminary meeting between Mr Sandys and the Cabinet Economic Committee between 2.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. on Monday, which would include the heads of the departments ■whose Ministers were members of the committee. The main meeting with the economic committee would begin at 10.15 in the morning on Tuesday and go on for the rest of the morning and again on Wednesday morning if desired and required. Asked if any arrangement had been made for Mr Sandys to meet the president of the Federation of Labour (Mr F P Walsh), Mr Holyoake said that Mr Walsh had not approached him on the matter. Mr Walsh said today that the British High Commissioner (Sir Francis Cum-ming-Bruce) had replied to the federation’s letter asking for an opportunity to see Mr Sandys. saying that the request would be passed on "But we still don’t know." said Mr Walsh. It has been announced that the chairmen of producer boards will meet Mr Sandys Dorie Domain.— Messrs J M. Cleave. D H. Evans. D J R. Harrison. R W Kingsbury. W. J. McKimmie. A H Muckle, and E D Stewart have been appointed a board to control the Dorie domain.
