Cycling Dalton Seventh In Tour

Dalton, the New Zealander who is riding for the British southern region team, finished twelfth in the tenth stage of the tour of Britain cycle race yesterday. He covered the 138 miles from Skegness to Scarborough. Yorkshire, in 6hr 29m in 25sec. 8m in 12sec behind the stage winner, D Tarr 'British Combined Services). Dalton' is now seventh in the general classification with a time of 49hr 44min 52sec. Leader in the general classification is B. Holmes (British Northern), with a time of 49hr 37min 34see.
