Maori Affairs Appeal
(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, June 14. The Public Service Appeal Board is expected to deliver a decision within a few days on an appeal by Mr A G. Hercus, chief solicitor of the Maori Affairs Department, against'the naming of Mr K Hunn as Secretary of Maori Affairs. The hearing of the case ended yesterday. Mr Hunn was formerly a Public Service Commissioner, but resigned before appointment to his present post. **r Hercus is aged 50 and has been with the department for 31 years.
