Long Moving Footway

Sydney’s Lord Mayor (Aiderman Jensen), and his youngest son, Mark, aged 13 months, were the first to ride on the world’s longest underground moving footway in Sydney on Friday. Aid. Jensen earlier officially had opened the £1,250.000 and 700 ft footway. He and Mark took five minutes for the trip from the first floor of the Domain car parking station to the pedestrian subway in Hyde Park. The footway has two moving belts, moving at H miles an hour, which each can carry 6000 an hour.
