France Lead Poland 2-0
WARSAW, June 11. France took a 2-0 lead over Poland on the first day of the European zone quarterfinal Davis Cup tie yesterday. Pierre Darmon beat Wieslaw Gasiorek 6-4, 9-7. 6-0. and Gerard Pilet defeated Wladvslaw Skonecki, 6-1, 6-4. 3-6. 6-4. The winners meet Italy or Germany in the semi-finals.
