MINOR FIRES
A unit from the Central Fire Station answered a call at 5.53 p.m. on Saturday to a rubbish fire at 20 Nova place .occupied by G. W. Hazeldine. No damage was done. No damage was done in a chimney fire which began in a house at 55 Weston road, occupied by John Alexander Salmond, at 12.45 p.m. yesterday. One unit from St. Albans answered the call. Slight damage was done to part of a wall from an oven which caught fire at 32 Martindale road, Heathcote, about 441 p.m. yesterday. The own-r of the house is John Richard Andrews. One unit from Woolston attended the fire.
