BASKETBALL RULE
Junior basketball players do not appear to understand that they cannot play a player from a higher grade in their team. Last Saturday, a fifth grade team being one short, played a fourth grade player. The team certainly did not try to hide the fact as the fourth grade team had different coloured uniform. When the position was explained, the .team was quite happy to play one short The rule states that a player can only play in th< grade she is registered in She may play in a highei grade but is then registered for that grade. No player if allowed to play in a grade lower than that in which she is registered.
